Meet the members of
our warm and friendly staff:
Grace Hansen, RDH,
has practiced dental hygiene in our office since 1983.
Born in Glendale, California, Grace graduated Morse High School and
attended Southwestern College. She
received her AS from Mesa College in 1978, the same year she received Board
certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Married to Gregg Hansen in 1990, Grace lives in Bonita with
one cat and six dogs who live for their nightly tooth-brushing. When not attending to her patients, she enjoys sail-boarding, snowboarding,
scuba diving, gardening in our glorious San Diego County climate, and traveling.
Sharon Neil, LVN,
is a native of Texas. Although Sharon is a licensed vocational nurse, she
received extensive training in oral surgery when she worked for an oral surgeon
prior to coming to our practice in 1977. Sharon
is our office manager and handles financial arrangements, dental records, and
dental insurance.
After Mar Vista High School, Southwestern College, and El
Camino College where she received her LVN in 1972, she married Greg Neil in
1973. Greg and Sharon and their daughter, Kirsten, live in Imperial Beach with
her three cats and one dog, a Rhodesian
Ridgeback. As members of the American
Palm Society, their home is landscaped with hundreds of exotic palm trees.
Sharon is an avid water skier and snow skier.
She enjoys baking and needlework.
Patti Gonzalez, RDA,
handles appointments and public relations. Patti was born in Connecticut and
graduated from Chula Vista High School in 1980. After
Southwestern College, she received her RDA certificate in 1987 and has worked in
our office since 1988. Patti and her husband Carlos, along with daughters Kristine and Amanda and sons Carl
and Chris, live in Bonita with
their dog and four cats.
Patti and her husband enjoy hiking, skiing, and traveling.
Anne Johnson Lopez, RDA,
is a native San Diegan and attended Mar Vista High School and Southwestern
College, where she received her AA in Economics in 1992.
She received her certificate in dental assisting from Concorde College in
1998 and received board certification as an RDA in 2001.
Anne and her husband Marcos live with their daughters Ariana
and Kathryn
and son Isaiah, with their dog and two parakeets in Chula Vista. Anne and her family have traveled the globe extensively. She
manages to find the time to play the flute and to volunteer for several South
Bay organizations.
Eduardo
Garcia, RDA, was
born and raised in National City and still resides there with his wife Kathy,
daughters Bibiana and Bernadette, and son Lalo. A graduate of Sweetwater
High School, he obtained his RDA Certificate in 1999. Besides working
full-time as a Registered Dental Assistant and attending San Diego City College,
he manages to find the time to coach girls fast-pitch softball and to restore
classic automobiles. He especially enjoys playing slow-pitch softball.
 Cindy
Basile, RDH is native of Upton, Massachusetts, Cindy grew up in
Camden, New York. She received her RDH degree in 1990 from Ononadaga
College in Syracuse, New York. She has practiced in California since 1995
and now lives in Bonita with her husband Tony, son Jake, and daughter Karly. When she is
not playing horseshoes, Cindy enjoys going to the desert to ride her quad and
navigating the Colorado River in the family's motorboat.
